Blogging - A Marketer’s Dream

Most of us, I’m sure, have heard of blogs - those ‘weblogs’ that began as a type of ‘online diary’ many, many moons ago. And, no matter how surprising, folks seem to love to read the ramblings of other human beings - whether that rambling be about themselves, their dog, the state of the nation, their kids, healthcare, world events or even about their hemorrhoids. The number of blogs today - coupled with the traffic numbers they command - are ample proof that blogs are firmly entrenched in the internet world.

d) It is conversation - at the very basic level, text is communication between two human beings - conversation. That makes it personal - it can make you, the website owner, ‘real’ and ‘known’ to the customer - which is one very important step in building trust and getting a sale.
